REMINISCING THE MOMENTS.
Today is one of those beautifully bittersweet kind of days. One of those days that you don’t always have the words for because there is so much to be said. Today my little Lolo turns 1.
As I look back on all of the photos that we’ve saved since day 1 I reflect on how many moments I have already cherished with this amazing little girl. I can remember the first moment I looked at her. Although, I was gain green and about 5 seconds from passing out, I can still remember how tiny she was all curled up in my arms.
I remember all of the snuggles we shared before she started moving around on her own.
I remember all of the times I simply just stared at her in awe of this creation.
I remember the first time she reached for a toy on her playmat. I remember the first time she reached for me, her mama.
I remember the first time she really smiled and giggled (not a gas giggle.)
I remember the first time she started crawling. The first time she took a step.
I remember The first time I left her for the day. The first time I left her for the night with gampy and mimi.
I remember The first night I got sleep because she slept an entire night. (Jk, I still woke up a million times because I was worried something was wrong.)
I remember The first time she said mama, dada, doggy, kitty kat…etc.
I remember The first time she got a cold.
I remember the first time she got a booboo (and how much I cried.)
There are millions of moments that I remember from my beautiful little girls first year and although these memories may mean nothing to you, they mean everything to me. These moments make up my little girl. These moments make me a mama. These moments will forever be my most proud.
Today is a day that I smile and cry because I know we have so many more beautiful moments to cherish.
Happy Birthday my little Lolo.
